Frogpole

Here's a picture I took of a frogpole (not quite a tadpole anymore, still not quite a frog) on Sunday.

Right now Deviant Art is my only real hosting service for pictures, and I've been posting new things to Deviant more frequently than I've been blogging in recent months. I'm taking a short break at the print shop right now and will be getting back to work momentarily.

That is a -really- nice picture, Neemund. I'll have to check out the rest of your Deviant Art collection.

Mrs. L was talking about how huge those tadpoles were. Not that I doubted her but I was truly surprised at how big they were! Are these Frogpoles from the same pool? I want to catch one when it grows to be a real frog!

That's the only pond with the huge ones, yes. There are also some normal size tadpoles in there as well, as well as in some of the other ponds in the area. I was shocked to see fish in there though, of several varieties, and some bigger than that tadpoles and frogpoles.

One of the best things I ever did when I was younger was watch tadpoles become frogs. I found them in a ditch...It was amazing.

This is a great picture. I have never seen a "frogpole" before. Only the little tads and the frogs. Very cool!
